About
Born and raised in rural South East of Western Australia, in a small town called Boddington, I grew up surrounded by animals and nature which offered an abundance of inspiration for my creative mind.
I attended Narrogin Senior High School until the age of 15, when one of my teachers commissioned me to do a portrait of his children- my very first commission that would later turn into a thriving portrait drawing business, which I registered in 2014, and named "Wizard Portraits" after my horse, Whiz.
I attended Kalamunda Senior High School for my senior years to study ATAR Visual Arts, where I enrolled in the special arts program called GATE: Gifted And Talented Education, which was a very beneficial platform to develop my skills and gain exposure.
Since registering as a business in 2014 I have partaken in numerous exhibitions, showcases, galleries and market stalls, as well as created murals for schools, logos for businesses, menu boards for cafes and pubs and much more.
In 2017 I traveled around Australia with my brother in our 1964 Millard Princess Caravan, which opened my eyes to a whole new world of inspiration. We lived in Cairns, Queensland, for 6 months, where my artistic skills and networking abilities were challenged in new ways as I attempted to establish myself in unfamiliar territory.
In July, 2019, I traveled to Kathmandu, Nepal on a Humanitarian volunteering basis, as well as to gain much-desired experience and inspiration for my artistic endeavors.
Currently residing in the hills south of Perth, Western Australia, I continue to produce custom portraits of people and their beloved friends, family and pets, as well as produce works original to my own unique perception of the world, and I am constantly seeking new opportunities to serve my community and the world we live in, in various ways.
